Lessons are designed to help build stronger intercommunication skills between horse and rider based on their riding level: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Fundamental training techniques are the bases in each lesson and are essential at all levels. In addition, basic horse care, first aid and management will be covered. Lessons are available through Ingrid Albrecht who is an accredited riding instructor through Oregon State University and has ridden and trained riders in the art of dressage, jumping, and western.
The Riding Program is usually over a period of time agreed between instructor and rider. Students must come thirty minutes prior to groom, review syllabus and warm up the horse. Lessons can be given in either 1/2 hour, or 1 hour increments and can be on or off the horse. Afterwards, the rider will need another 30 minutes to cool down and put the horse away. Before riders can participate all necessary forms (waiver form and lesson/training signup sheet) must be filled out, and returned to instructor including payment. In addition, training is available for clients that are interested in promoting their horses for purchase, or they just need more mileage.This is a great way to ease the pain of selling and unconditionally find the right home. Horses are brought under consistent training and promoted to help get a good market value. Also, proper advertising (advertising costs are additional fees) is used through ads, internet,and videos. Showing clients horses is also available (depending on specific situations) at horses appropriate level. A well seasoned horse in the showing circuit is the easiest way to sell or promote horses. Ingrid Albrecht has successfully shown in hunters, jumpers, and dressage. She has earned her USDF Bronze Medal and is working on her Silver.
